Obituary of Linwood Morris
Linwood Earl Morris, 63, died Wednesday at Wake Med in Raleigh. A native of Franklin county, he lived in Wake Forest for 45 years and since 2003 has lived in Apex. Mr. Morris was employed by ABC Sanitation.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Sunday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Surviving is his companion of 18 years, Joan Atkins and her daughter, Morgan of Apex; brother, Robert Morris and wife Jewel of Byron, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
