Lois Seagroves Duke

Mrs. Lois Marie Seagroves Duke, 80, of Apex, entered the gates of Heaven Saturday evening, April 4, 2009.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Inwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Wake County, Lois was the daughter of the late Virgil and Annie Beckwith Seagroves and was a retired seamstress.

Lois is survived by her sons, Benjie Duke and his wife, Carolyn of Durham, Jeff Duke of Apex; her daughter in-law, Jo Collins-Duke of Raleigh; sisters, Joan Gates of Cary, Janet Pinkard of Apex as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Duke and her son, Charles Duke.
