GARNER - Lois Smith Hicks, 92 of Garner died Monday, December 28, 2020 at home. She was born in Wake county, and the daughter of Vashti and Walter Smith.

Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters Bobbie Dupree, Bonnie Hales and her husband Larry, all of Garner; granddaughter Kimberly Rowell Singleton and her husband Robert Singleton Jr., great grandchildren Walker and Abby Singleton all of Raleigh and a brother Wade Smith of Raleigh.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Dewy Hicks, sisters, Ruby Moon, Gladys Medlin, Jeanette Mangum, Anne Ellis; brothers, Simon Smith and Parker Smith.

A private service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home with an entombment to follow in the Garden of Love Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park.
