Loma Pearl Williford

Mrs. Loma Pearl Williford, 85, of Raleigh, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home .

Loma is survived by her children Earline Goodwin and husband Jay, of Maryland, Linda Spivey and husband Jimmy, of Raleigh, Dorinda Strother and husband Tony, of Creedmoor, Ronnie Williford, of the home, and Charlotte Williford, of Raleigh; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren: and 4 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Ray Cheely; there are no words that can express our love and appreciation for the care you showed to our mother for over 20 years. She completely tursted you and always felt safe under your care.

The family is at peace knowing that Loma is in heaven. On Friday with family surounding her she looked up to the sky and said "What a beautiful picture, what a wonderful memory" and spent the remainder of her time in the presence of God and her family.
