Loomis McClendon Sealey, III

Mr. Loomis McLendon Sealey, III, 53, of Smithfield, died June 16, 2009.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Montlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Wake County, Loomis was born July 31, 1955, to the late Loomis McLendon Sealey, Jr. and Frances Sutherland Sealey. He gave his life to Christ and attended services at Wooten's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Loomis was a jack of all trades and enjoyed doing things for others, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Loomis is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Sealey, of Smithfield, and Melissa Sealey Dunston and her husband Anthony, of Smithfield; grandchildren, Alexis Dunston, Star Sealey, and Aris Dunston;; brother Thomas McLaren and wife Shirley; sisters, Catherine Edwards and husband Billy, and Agnes Patterson and husband Maynard; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dogs Pee Wee and Scooter.
