The family would like to thank Lou's in-home caregivers for their loving care over the years. In June of 2013, she moved into the Reminiscence Community at Brighton Gardens, Raleigh. We thank Brighton Gardens' entire staff of kind, compassionate and loving caregivers and administrators. Before dementia completely took over her mind, Lou stunned everyone with her knowledge of the Big Band music and trivia. She loved to talk and made friends everywhere she went. Until recently, she remembered everyone's name. We also thank Hospice of Wake County for their compassionate care in her last days.
A private Memorial Service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home.
