Louise Eakes Jones, 86 years old, passed away on March 10, 2018. She was the beloved widow of Charles H. Jones and they shared almost 62 years of marriage together.

She was one of five children born to Henry and Effie Eakes of Fuquay Springs, North Carolina . She married Charles Jones on November 20, 1954 and they raised three children together. Charles and Louise were members of Longview Baptist Church in Raleigh for over fifty years. They raised their children to love Jesus and they put God and family first in every aspect of their lives. Their love and commitment to one another was the beautiful heritage they left to their children and grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her three children and their spouses: Karen and Mike Cox of Fuquay-Varina; Michael and Tammy Jones of Gold Hill; Chuck and Beth Jones of Youngsville; her nine grandchildren- Kristen Reites, Joe Cox, Hannah Upchurch, Jenny Johnson, Calvin Jones, Andrew Jones, Rebekah Jones, Jacob Jones, and Elizabeth Jones plus her seven great-grandchildren, William, Olivia, Madison, Ean, Adrian, Tyler and Reid. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Ellen and her husband, Wilbur Blake. She was much loved by her family.
