Louise Crumpler Murphy, 97 of Smithfield, passed away, Sunday evening, March 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Johnston Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Mattie Crumpler.

Louise is survived by her son Raeford Murphy and wife Jo Anne of Smithfield as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She worked in office administration as an insurance agent for Life and Casualty Insurance Company where she retired. Louise also drove a laundry truck in Smithfield for many years.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends and guests one hour prior to the service.
