Our dearest mother, Lucille "Luann" Ann D'Amato, 75, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, passed away on December 2, 2019 surrounded by her five children and her fur baby and beloved companion Kanno .

Luann was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 16, 1943 to the late Alfred and Loretta Casella.  She is also preceded in death by her only brother, Alfred Casella II.

She is survived by her five children; daughters Tinamarie D'Amato, Diane MacKay, Janene Wilson (Robert), and sons Salvatore D'Amato (Yvonne) and Michael P. D'Amato.  Luann is also survived by five grandchildren:  Anthony D'Amato, Donald MacKay, Heather MacKay, Sabrina Powers, Nicholas D'Amato, and great-grandchildren Cameron, Violet, and Jax.

Luann loved her family and was very giving and caring.  She loved baking, cooking, and listening to Elvis.  She worked for WalMart and the Laidlaw Bus Company in Long Island, NY for many years and she will be dearly missed.  RIP.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
