Florence Lucille Keziah Pleasants was born June 9th, 1921. She lived through the great depression, a world war, and everything else that can be thrown at us in the course of a long life. Thankfully, she slipped away peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2020. She will buried beside our step-dad, Rudy. A man who gave her the best, most settled years of her life. She will be missed, and thought of often.

Mrs. Pleasants is survived by her son, Russell Yandle of Leland, North Carolina; her daughter, Susan Hayes of Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband, Rudolph; her sons Max R. Godfry and Jeffrey Yandle; brother, Spurgeon; and sisters, Hallie, Nita, Bernice, and Emma Lee.

There will be a Graveside service 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 15th at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
