Luzene (Lou) Champion Crispell, 83, of Garner passed away peacefully on November 17, 2016. Luzene was born on March 2, 1933 in Fuquay-Varina, NC to Arthur and Kathleen Champion. Luzene loved working in the yard nurturing her flowers. She had a life long love of the beach and spent many weeks there with her family and friends throughout her life. She was active in her church for many years and was a volunteer at the Garner Senior Citizen's Center. Luzene was preceded in death by her son, Charles Fish Jr. Luzene is survived by her dear love, Charles Waters; daughter, Patricia Fish Millas (husband John); granddaughters, Marisa Game and Whitney Fish and brother Jay Champion (wife Sue). She was a loving companion, a caring mother, "the best mema ever" and a special sister. Luzene shall remain in our hearts forever. Services celebrating Luzene's life will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 beginning with the family receiving friends at 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
