Obituary of Margaret Fuller

Margaret Louise Symons Fuller, age 78, passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic car accident on Sunday July 29, 2012. She was born on December 24, 1933 in Hertford, N. C. and graduated from Perquimans County High School in 1952. For 37 years she lived in Raleigh, NC. Margaret was very active in her church, community affairs, and she loved to travel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.

Margaret is survived by her son David Scaff, his wife Betty and their children Martha and Hill of Palm Beach, FL; daughter Sandra Ryan, her husband Tom and their children Chris and Matt of Taunton, MA; stepdaughter Rauna Fuller of Buxton, N.C.; stepdaughter Marla Whitehead, her husband Corky and their children Courtney, Maudie and Kayla of Buxton, N.C.; stepdaughter Mary, her husband Tim and their children Shanley and Bryce of Buxton, N.C.; Georgia Hardee, her husband Tom and their children Geanna and Fuller of Buxton N.C.; and Tana O'Keefe, her husband Jerry and their children Joseph and Sean of Durham, N. C. She is also survived by her sisters, Faye Rae Stallings of Hertford N.C. and Sylvia Hoover of Elizabeth City, N.C..

A celebration of her life will be held at Fairmont Methodist Church, 2501 Clark Avenue, Raleigh, N.C. on August 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairmont United Methodist Church.
