Margaret L. Johnson, 91 of Raleigh, NC passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Bellarose Nursing and Rehab in Garner, NC.

She was born on January 22, 1932 to the late Fred and Maggie Parrish Gooch. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Swade Johnson also known as "Andy".

Margaret is survived by her son, Andy Johnson (Dale), son, Dale Johnson (Martha), grandchildren, Lauren (Mike), Drew (Turner-Marie), Michael (Nicole), Daniel (Hannah), eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a charter member of Raleigh, First Church of the Nazarene, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She retired from Winn-Dixie stores with over 30 years of dedicated service. The Funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday October 11, 2023, in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be one hour prior to service where the family will receive friends and relatives. Burial will follow in the Montlawn Memorial Park.
