She is survived by her children, Ricky Coates and his wife Sheila, Randy Coates and his wife Emily, and Robert Coates and his wife Pam. Her legacy continues in her nine grandchildren, Robert Coates and his wife Erica, Danny Coates and his wife Erica, Jeff Coates, Chris Coates and his wife Kristen, Steven Coates and his wife Bridget, Misty Coates, Ashley Coates, Taylor Coates and her husband Frankie, Rachael McLean and her husband Stephen, and her 16 great-grandchildren.
