It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of our beloved Margaret Nellie Wargo, which occurred on December 21st, 2020. She is preceded in death by husband John Jack Wargo. Beloved mother of two beautiful daughters Sandra Lee Thompson and Donna Francis Barefoot, grandmother to Michaela R. Suarez, Michael Anthony Barefoot, and Jarod Michael Barefoot, great-grandmother to Orion J. Suarez.
Her life was full of beautiful memories to be cherished by her surviving family and close friends.
She met and married her late husband, known as Jack, in her 30s and had known a few weeks into dating that he was the one with whom she'd spend the rest of her life. Originally from Oakland, PA, she moved down to Jacksonville, NC where the next chapters of her life would begin with her husband and daughters. In the late 1980s they moved to Raleigh, NC and shortly after Margie began working at Wake Med where she partook in a career that lasted over 20 years. Along the way she enjoyed her many friendships with coworkers . She retired at the age of 67.
After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family.
he family will be receiving visitors at 11:00 am  on December 29,2020 at Montlawn Funeral Home and Cremations.  All are invited to attend a graveside service at 1:00 in Montlawn Memorial Park.
