Obituary of Marguerite Pierce
Marguerite W. Pierce, 91, of Raleigh, NC passed away on January 12, 2016. She was born on December 8, 1924 to Hines Owen and Henrietta R. Wadford in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her sister, Nettie W. DeMain and brothers, H.O Wadford and Emmett Wadford. Mrs. Pierce is survived by her daughter, Joyce P. Andrews (AD) and sons, James M. Pierce, Jr. (Betsy) and Victor A. Pierce; one brother, Dwight H. Wadford; one brother-in law, Robert E. DeMain; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A service of celebration will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Transitions Life Care 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC 27607 or Aversboro Road Baptist Church 1600 Aversboro Road Garner, NC 27529.
