Obituary of Maria Smith
Maria R. Smith, 84 of 111 Carriage House Trail, Garner, NC passed away on September 9, 2015.
Maria is survived by her daughter Lisa Banks and husband Mike of Garner; two step-grandchildren: Shane Banks (wife Tyler, children Emma Grace and Trent) and Devon Rose (husband Andrew), all of Garner; sisters: Josie Rosales (husband Pete) of Vernon, Texas and Elida Liserio of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers: Luis Rodriguez (wife Trini) of Vernon, Texas, Johnny Rodriguez (wife Elizabeth) of San Antonio, Texas and Jose Rodriguez of Seattle, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Dr. Harvey Whaley of Aversboro Road Baptist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm at the graveside prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Transitions LifeCare (formerly Hospice of Wake County), 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
