Obituary of Marianne Henninger

Marianne Katherine Henninger, 48, of Raleigh, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at her home.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church.

A native of New Jersey, Marianne was born May 29, 1962, the daughter of the late Robert Paul Henninger and Marianne Flynn Henninger who survives her. Marianne was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She practiced at several hospitals before joining Wellpath Health Care Plan but the main focus and love of her life was her son, Bobby.

Marianne is survived by her son, Robert Anthony "Bobby" Henninger; mother, Marianne Flynn Henninger; siblings, Karen Norris and her husband Timothy, all of Raleigh, Paul Henninger and his wife Susan of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, Michael Henninger and his wife Edie, Nancy Henninger, all of Raleigh, Kevin Henninger and his partner Denise of Castalia, nieces and nephews, Flynn, Christian, Micaela, McKenna, Joshua, Amber and Angel.
