Marie Batchelor Eddins of Raleigh, NC passed away January 27, 2019 at the age of 83. Marie was born in Nash County on May 14, 1935 to James Edgar and Maidie Nowell Batchelor.

Marie worked for the North Carolina Rate Bureau for 50 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her best friend of more than 60 years, Doris Street, and doing the "mosey" with her sister in law and niece on weekends. Marie was a devoted daughter, wife and friend.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, James Edgar and Maidie Nowell Batchelor and her husband Robert "Bobby" Eddins. She will be greatly missed by her sister in law, Dorothy Kilgore, niece, Michelle Kilgore and her friends. Special thanks to Marie's neighbor, Carol.
