Obituary of Marie Holland

Marie Ragan Holland, 88, a longtime resident of Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh, died Tuesday evening, April 24, 2012 at Sunnybrook Nursing Center.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Friday morning.

A native of Wake County, Marie was born May 10, 1923. She retired from Gregory Poole Equipment Company and was a member of Samaria Baptist Church.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Rex Holland in 2009. She is survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Billy Mozingo of Selma and several nieces and nephews.
