Obituary of Marilyn Johnson
Marilyn Polee Johnson, 73, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 7, 2013 at WakeMed in Raleigh with her family at her side.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her home, 1209 Cane Creek Drive, Garner, NC 27529.
A native of Rochester, NY, Marilyn was born July 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Harold and Rhea Maybe Polee. She retired in the spring as the receptionist at Carolina Country Club in Raleigh and had previously worked at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Kristy Mackenzie of the home; son, Scott Kruck of Wellington, FL and her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Mackenzie, Jeremy Kruck and Ashley Mackenzie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kristy Mackenzie for Marilyn's grandchildren's education.
