Obituary of Marilyn Mantiply

Marilyn Hamby Mantiply of Raleigh passed away on June 12, 2013 at William Dunlap Hospice Center. Marilyn was born December 1, 1938 in Charlotte, N.C. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Janet Hamby, and sister, Babs Richardson. She is survived by her children, Deborah Sox of Clayton, GeeGee Collier and Melissa Smith both of Raleigh. She had 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Marilyn was a 33 year employee of Wachovia Bank and Trust Co in Raleigh. She also worked for 10 years for Target in Cary.

There will be a celebration of her life at North Raleigh United Methodist Church, 8501 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27615, Saturday, June 22nd at 12:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marilyn to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, N.C. 27607.
