Our dear Mother passed away 15 November 2022, peacefully, in her sleep. She was 86. She's no longer
suffering but, with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the Matriarch of the family; always had a
big smile, good advice and a lovely sense of humor. She was always there with a hug and kindness that
cannot be matched. She had many friends in Capital Towers and was a well-loved member of Trinity
Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband Herman Walker, Brothers Harper House II,
Howard House, Tallmadge House and sisters Rebecca Wilson, and Manuela Barrett. She is survived by
her children Susan Kirkland her husband Gene, Sonny (Herman Jr) Walker and his wife Faye, Emily
Knoch, Michael Walker and his wife Karen and Ashley "Paul" Walker, and Grandchildren Rita, Joshua
"Josh", Michelle, Vivian, Jennifer "Jenn", Mathew, Elizabeth "Lizzie" and Isabelle, Step Grandchildren
Robb and Kristyn, and Great-Grandchildren Ellie, Luke, Nora, Emma, Ripken, Thatcher, Elkin, Isaac, Jaden
and Bel, and Step Great-grandchildren Trevor, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Albert, Yesenia, Jeovanni and
Tanner.
