Marshall Ken Kemp, 63, of Raleigh passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous eight month battle with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma.  He was born June 7, 1955 in Wake County to the late Johnnie Ken Kemp and Lita Gray Pace Kemp.

Mr. Kemp graduated in 1977 from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology.  He worked for GlaxoSmithKline as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for over 30 years.  He was a member of the Wolfpack Club for over 20 years and was a huge sports enthusiast.  He always enjoyed seeing the Wolfpack play football and basketball and he had a great love for golf as well.  He and his family attended Hope Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Vittoria M. Kemp, a son, Matthew G. Kemp and wife Kristin of Cary, a daughter, Nicole V. Kemp of Raleigh and her boyfriend Brayden Sims, a sister, Anita K. Smith and husband Don of Cary and their children, Ross Smith and wife Kelsey and Lauren Smith, a brother, Vince Kemp of Charlotte, loving extended family members of the Pace family, mother-in-law, Gloria Mutarelli of Bethlehem, PA and loving extended family members of the Mutarelli and Recchio families.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 6 ^th at 11:00 A.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel.  Inurnment will follow in the Whispering Waters Cremation Garden in Montlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday, July 5 ^th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Montlawn Funeral Home.
