Obituary of Marvin Moyer

Marvin Russell Moyer, 61, formerly of Greenfield Center and Gansevoort, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Raleigh, NC. Born in Glens Falls, NY on June 5, 1951, he was the son of the late Russell Moyer and is survived by his mother, Margery Day Moyer of Clayton, NC. He graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1969 and was employed for many years at Saratoga Dairy.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children, Abbey Moyer of Cary, NC, Howard Moyer of Gansevoort, NY and Randolph Moyer of Wilton, NY, one granddaughter, Eva Moyer of Ganesvoort, NY. He is also survived by his sister, Margery Pearl (Terry) of Clayton, NC and his niece and nephew. Marvin was also a proud grandfather to five granddogs.

Marvin greatly enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping, especially with his children. He was also very active as a little league baseball coach during his children's school years.
