Mary Jo Jones Franklin

Mrs. Mary Jo Jones Franklin, 54, of Clayton, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2009.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday, June 19, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home. Interment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Wake County, Jo was employed at Nationwide Insurance in Raleigh for 21 years.

She is survived by her husband, John Richard Franklin; parents, Russell and Eva Jones; children, Shelly Bolton Pleasants and her husband Jason, Karen Franklin Paschall and her husband Donnie, and Dr. Cliff Franklin and his wife Dana; grandchildren Brandon and Madelyn Pleasants, Dylan, Marissa, and Jordan Paschall, and Drake, Tyler, Ashton, and Aubrey Franklin; sisters, Marilyn Jaime, Susan Lee, and Amy Jones; brother, Alan Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Durham Rescue Mission or South Hills Baptist Church Missions Program.
