Mary Alice Little departed this life on June 22, 2026. She was born on November 20, 1944, in Anson County, North Carolina, to the late Frank Albert Williams and Mattie Mae Braxton Williams.

Mary Alice Little was united in holy matrimony to Freddie Lee Little. From this loving union, ten children were born.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Freddie Lee Little; three daughters: Laura Little Harris of Bunn, North Carolina, Mattie Alice Little of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Katie Marie Little of Raleigh, North Carolina; and six sons: Freddie Lee Little (Michelle Little) of Bunn, North Carolina, Wade Lee Little (Linda Little) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Timmy Little of Zebulon, North Carolina, Frankie Lee Little (Vandetta Little) of Clayton, North Carolina, Mark Randall Little of Wilson, North Carolina, and Otis James Little (Lillian Little) of Louisburg, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Little, and her grandson, Christopher Morris.

She also leaves behind her sister, Annie Hocutt of Princeton, North Carolina; her brother, Larry Williams of Austin, Texas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

Our mother was deeply devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she cherished spending time. She found great joy in gardening and took special pride in planting flowers, with yellow roses being her favorite.

Mary had a kind and generous heart and never met a stranger. She loved people and welcomed everyone with warmth and compassion. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she enjoyed sharing laughter and telling funny jokes. Whenever you visited her, you could expect plenty of laughter and good times because she loved life and always wanted those around her to feel comfortable and at home in her presence.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral home sharing an honoring 81 years of memories with “Mary Alice”.

A celebration of life service for Mary Alice Little will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home.

Her love, kindness, and joyful spirit will be treasured forever by all who knew and loved her.
