Mary "Frances" Earnhardt Phillips, 89, passed away quietly on July 30, 2023. Frances was born on February 6, 1934 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Robert and Sarah Earnhardt. She loved spending her Sundays cooking home cooked meals for her family. She loved watching her children grow into amazing adults, but in the later years it was the grandchildren and great grandchildren that brought her the most joy on their Sunday visits. They would bring a smile to her face every time.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Phillips, her brother Billy Earnhardt and her son, Greg Hicks.

Frances is survived by her children, Gene Hicks and wife, Pam, Darrell Hicks and wife, Cindy, Kenny Hicks and wife, Vicki,  Brenda Lovette, and Roy Hicks and wife, Kelly. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
