Obituary of Mary Weitz
Mary Ann R. Weitz, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 18, 2015. She was the daughter of Mary Ann Pietragalla Weitz and the late George Weitz. Mary Ann was born in Beacon, NY and was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School and Krissler Business Institute. She relocated to Raleigh, NC in 1992. She was employed by the NC Utilities Commission.
Surviving are her mother, Mary Ann Pietragalla Weitz of Wappingers Falls, NY; sister, Susan Weitz of Wappingers Falls, NY and George-Ann Sauer of New York, NY. She was preceded in death by her beloved nephew, Michael John Sauer and her maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Pietragalla.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in her name to the American Stroke Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
