Obituary of Merle Fralick
Mrs. Merle McNeil Fralick, 83, of Raleigh, died Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010 at Rex Healthcare following a brief illness.
A Private Graveside Funeral Service will be held Friday at Montlawn Memorial Park.
A native of Apex, Merle was born August 3, 1926 to the late Hugh and Sally Henson McNeil. She was a charter member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, collecting Seagrove pottery but mostly loved being with her husband, the late Ben T. Fralick and her family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and new great grandson.
Merle is survived by her daughter, Marsha Fralick Woody and her husband Bill of Manteo; grandson, Ben Woody, his wife Frieda and their son Austin of Grandy, NC; granddaughter, Joette Basham and her husband Shannon of Cary and Merele's brother, Joseph McNeil of Matawan, NJ.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 714 E. Whitaker Mill Rd., Raleigh, NC 27608.
