Obituary of Michael McPartland

Michael "Mike" McPartland, 50, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Orange County, CA. He was a graduate of Millbrook High School and East Carolina University. While at ECU he played rugby and was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. Mike was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cary.

He is survived by Donna Wren McPartland and two sons Michael and Mark McPartland all of Cary; brother, James Kevin McPartland and wife Mara of California; sister, Mary Ellen Garner of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Michael McPartland and Ann Murphy McPartland.

A celebration of life will be held 11 am Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:00 am Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Whispering Waters at Montlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 117 S. Academy Street, Cary, NC 27511 to benefit Southeast Raleigh Missions. The memorials received will benefit the children and parents in SE Raleigh.
