GARNER

Michael M. Sargent, 74, of Garner, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2020. Michael was pre-deceased by his parents, Minier and Henrietta Sargent and brother, Doug Sargent. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Sargent; children, Michael A. "Andy" Sargent, Tammy P. Clement and Deanna P. Eatmon; grandchildren, James Brandon Holding,  Taylor D. Farrell, Samuel Cody Eatmon and Sierra K. Clement; great-grandchildren, Chandler James Farrell and Papa's lil buddy, James Liam Holding; sister, Mary Coles and many nieces and nephews. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather and papa. He worked at Variety Wholesalers for 25 years after serving his country in the Air Force for 4 years. He will be missed greatly and will forever be in our hearts.
