RALEIGH

In the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, Michael Harold Lenward Sauls of Raleigh, NC went to be with the Lord. A special day for a special person. Michael had a brilliant mind, and infectious smile, and often expressed his thoughts through poetry.

Mr. Sauls was born on June 28, 1957 to Ida and James Sauls of Garner, NC.

He is survived by his loving mother Ida Sauls, and his siblings, Julie Lawler, James (Jimmy) Sauls Jr., Charles (Timmy) Sauls, and Mary Beth Belt. He is preceded in death by his wife Caroline Holding Sauls, his father James Sauls Sr., and brother Joseph David Sauls.

A funeral service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2911 South Wilmington St, Raleigh, North Carolina 27603. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
