Obituary of Michael Stollbrink

Michael Stollbrink, 56, of Apex, passed away Saturday morning, July 21, 2012 at Hospice of Wake County.

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Apex, NC.

Born November 2, 1955 in New York City, NY, Michael was the son of the late Richard H. Stollbrink and Marion Loeb Stollbrink. He graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, and the United States Air Force Institute of Technology with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. Michael retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service, working as a Civil Engineer. He was a great and loving father, who was extremely proud of his children. He will truly be missed.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy Stollbrink; daughters, Kaitlin Kober and husband James, and Elizabeth Stollbrink; son Patrick Stollbrink; sister, Barbara Koch of Allentown, PA; brother, Stephen Stollbrink and wife Patricia of Allentown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
