It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Denning Casson on November 25, 2024, in Raleigh, NC. Born on September 13, 1968, Michelle was the beloved daughter of William "Stan" Denning and Mary Nelle Denning.

Michelle grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Millbrook High School and attended Elon University, later graduating from Wake Tech. She then married and devoted her time to raising her three children. Michelle supported various nonprofits and later worked in the food and beverage industry. Known for her generous spirit, unwavering faith, strength, and fun-loving nature, Michelle faced many of life's challenges with courage. Her infectious joy and excitement for life was felt by all those close to her.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Mary Nelle Denning; her three children, Ashley Cobb (Jeff Cobb), Phillip Casson (Mary Casson), and Nick Casson; and her soon-to-arrive granddaughter, expected in February 2025—a joy Michelle eagerly anticipated. She also leaves behind her brother Bennie Collins (Jan); sisters Teresa Perry (Everett) and Lisa Denning.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Stan Denning, mother, Katie Denning and sister, Pamela Denning.
