Mildred was the adored daughter of William F. and Frances B. Roberts, who were great
parents (deceased). She was the "Sweetheart" of Maurice I. Libby (deceased) for 54
years. They had four "perfect children": Marvin I. Libby and wife Melinda, his son
Matthew I. Libby (deceased) and a daughter Meredith L. Bornstein and her husband
Greg Bornstein and their daughter Abigail Bornstein; Mardene L. Wyant and husband
Thomas Wyant, their daughter Jacqueline M. Wyant and her husband Jo¡o Alves and
her daughter Jasmine M. Evans, and their son Michael A. Wyant and his wife Lindsay
and their daughters Andy Ramsey, Evelyn Wyant and Serenity Wyant; Mina Jean Libby
(deceased) born on Mildred's Birthday; Marie L. Dixon and her husband William Dixon
and their children Bryan C. Dixon, Garrett B. Dixon, and Allison M. Dixon.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Springmoor Life Care Retirement Center's Auditorium located at
1500 Sawmill Road, Raleigh on Sunday, October 16 at 2 PM, with Phyllis Mayo,
Chaplain, presiding. Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, ME. If you so desire,
donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, 1201 Buck Jones Road,
Raleigh, NC 27606 OR to the National Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Ave.,
Nebraska City, NE 68410.
She was blessed with a very good life, thanks to her Heavenly Father. One of her
favorite Bible passages is in Chapter 3 of Proverbs, Verses 5 & 6: "Trust in the Lord
with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways,
acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths."
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the second floor health
