Myrtle Mae Beasley
Mrs. Myrtle Mae Beasley, 86, of Garner, died May 15, 2008.
A native of Johnston County, she was born September 24, 1921, to the late Ransom and Cora Beasley Tew. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Myrtle Mae is survived by her daughter Goldie Fish, and husband D. L.,of Garner; son W. E. Blackmon, and wife Sharon, of Clayton; 4 grandchildren Tony Earl Blackmon, Craig Fish, Sheila Taylor, and Sherri Hill; 9 great grandchildren; and a sister Elsie Knowles. Myrtle Mae is predeceased by her a grandson Wilson Troy Blackmon, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 18, 2008, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
