Myrtle Wilson Pipkin

Mrs. Myrtle Wilson Pipkin, 75, of Raleigh, died Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2009 at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital.

Graveside Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

A native of Raleigh, Myrtle was the daughter of the late Durward and Lois Edwards Wilson. She was retired from the North Carolina Department of Revenue with 30 years service. Myrtle also was an Avon representative for many years and volunteered with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilbur Pipkin and two brothers, Warren Wilson and Dwight Wilson.

Myrtle is survived by her special friend and devoted caregiver, Ann Williams of Raleigh as well as two nephews and one niece.
