Today our hearts ache with the loss of Nancy. She passed away at home after a long illness. She was born in Geneva, NY and grew up in Raleigh, NC. She graduated from Millbrook High School in 1973. Throughout elementary school and high school she took ballet lessons at the Raleigh School of Dance Arts. During and after high school she was a principle dancer with the Raleigh Civic Bal- let and she went on to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. Dance turned out to be her life and she took off for Las Vegas in 1982 with her faithful black Labrador, Tasha. She worked many years with various companies in Las Vegas, was an assistant to magician, Lance Burton and retired as a dancer with the Siegfried & Roy Show in 2003, having many adventures along the way. She re- turned to Raleigh 2008 to be close to her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Kerry H. Good and her sister, Karen Elizabeth Mizell both of Raleigh, NC and stepmother, Linda Maness Mizell of Pinehurst, NC. She also leaves behind two lifelong friends, Ninna DelGuercio of Hamlet, NC and Carolyn O'Brien of Ra- leigh, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Elizabeth Tyree and Wade Lawrence Mizell.
