Obituary of Neil Barlow

Neil Roger Barlow, 55, of Raleigh passed away, Monday, April 22, 2013 at his residence.

Neil was born May 27, 1957 in Newburgh, NY. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Herrin Barlow; son, David Neil Barlow; mother, Gail Munch Barlow Lightcap; brothers, Kurt (Wendy), Mark, and Paul (Mary) Barlow; sister, Meg Barlow Lyons (Dan); and many nieces and nephews whom he adored. Neil is also survived by his best friend, Steve Bristow and wife Kim. He was also loved by Jane's parents, Gerald and Bonnie Herrin, and the entire Herrin family.

A Celebration of Neil's Life will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Raleigh. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

The family requests that donations be made in memory of Neil to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2718 Overbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27608.
