Obituary of Nona Fish
Nona Johnson Fish, 76, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away Sunday night, November 20, 2011 at Rex Hospital.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Montlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Born October 29, 1935 in Johnston County, NC, Nona was the daughter of the late James Casper Johnson and Naomi R. Woodall Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Casper Johnson, Jr.
Nona is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert A. Fish; daughter, Melody Whitford; and granddaughter, Annabelle Whitford.
A graduate of Benson High School, Nona later worked as a supervisor for the State Retirement System for 28 years.
Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made in honor of Nona to the Hospice of Wake County, 2500 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
