Obituary of Nonie Stone
Nonie Mae Crissman Stone, 84 years old, passed away February 5, 2015.
She was born September 26, 1930 in Cumberland, VA to the late Mary Elizabeth Crissman Wolfe and Aurther Rosevelt Crissman. She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Harold Edward Stone, Sr. and by her daughter, Deborah Stone Auteri as well as three grandchildren; Laura Ann Leonard Rohrer, Donnie Lynn Leonard and Leslie Nicole Rohrer.
Nonie is survived by her children; Linda Stone Leonard of Wendell, NC; Brenda Stone Broughton Snead of Youngsville, NC; Theresa Stone Phillips of Wendell, NC; and Harold Edward "Ed" Stone, Jr, also of Wendell. She was grandmother to nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are J R Crissman, Nathan Crissman and Peggy Crissman Wilke, all of Sanford, NC and Myrtle Crissman Walker of Leland, NC.
Family will receive friends and family at Mountlawn Funeral Home, 2911 Wilmington St in Raleigh, NC Sunday, February 8, 5-7 pm. Services will be held on Monday, February 9, 11 am in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wake County Hospice/Transitions organization in Nonie's name.
