Norman Ronnie Pendergraft, 67, died peacefully at his residence on Monday, April 4, 2016. He was a retired meter technician with the City of Raleigh's Public Utilities Department.
Ronnie was a man that could make a dull day extraordinary and always knew how to make a person smile. He was a man that loved living life to the fullest. He was the most stubborn man you ever knew yet so giving that he would give you the shirt off his back to help someone in need.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Smith Pendergraft; son, Michael Travis Pendergraft and wife Helen of Benson; brother, William Pendergraft and wife Alicia of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Crystal and Gracie Pendergraft; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 7:30 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
