IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Odanix Daniel
Del Rosario
March 18, 2015 – June 14, 2025
With profound sadness and overflowing love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Odanix Daniel Del Rosario, who departed this world far too soon on June 14, 2025, at the tender age of 10 in Burlington, North Carolina.
Born in Durham, North Carolina, Odanix was a radiant light in every life he touched. A perfect gentleman from the start, he was full of laughter, energy, and boundless love. His bubbly spirit was contagious, and he had a gift for bringing people together—his joy was magnetic, and his presence unforgettable.
Odanix found delight in life's simple pleasures: playing video games, swimming, dancing, singing, reading the Bible, and playing baseball. He especially loved spending time surrounded by family, the true center of his world. His favorite foods were as joyful as he was: cotton candy, mint chocolate chip ice cream, rice and beans, and tuna salad with pasta. His favorite movie was Little Rascals, and his favorite songs, Ordinary, Girl on Fire, and beautiful things, captured his heartfelt nature.
He was deeply spiritual and wise beyond his years, often quoting his favorite Bible verse: "All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children." – Isaiah 54:13"
Odanix is survived by his loving parents, Sasha Natalie Del Rosario and Julian David Del Rosario; his cherished brothers, Angel Andriel Acevedo and Jeshuaw Isaac Del Rosario; devoted grandparents Susana Martinez, Wendy Roa, Margarita Pichardo, Julian Del Rosario, Alejandro Velez, and Angel L. Acevedo; his dear aunts and uncles, Angel G. Acevedo, Odanis Martinez, Andrew Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Diana Roa, Lucaz Roa, Nilmari Acevedo, Yamilka Acevedo, Valery Acevedo, Samuel Del Rosario, Siraidé Del Rosario, Maité De Leon, Joel Del Rosario, Daniel Del Rosario, Gabriel Del Rosario, Carolyn Acevedo, Melissa Velez, Emily Velez, Christopher Velez, Kiara Paulino, Ted Cruz, Sierra Watson, Melenie Romero, Linelba Santos and a large, loving extended family including over 30 cousins, and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by Fernando Troncoso, Geovanni V., and Rosa Emilia, who now welcome him into eternal peace with open arms.
Odanix's superpower was love—his ability to unite hearts, no matter the distance or difference. His joyful legacy lives on in every family gathering, every playful laugh, and every act of kindness inspired by his memory.
He was our sunshine, our song, our angel on earth. Now, he is our angel in heaven.
