Obituary of Oscar Howard
Oscar Howard, 84, of Raleigh, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday morning, June 19, 2010.
Family will receive friends Monday, June 21, 2010 at 12 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.
A native of Wayne County, Oscar was a retired administrator with the North Carolina Film Center for the State of North Carolina. He was a faithful member of Vandora Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Garner and began serving his country at the early age of 15 in the United States Navy during World War II.
Oscar is survived by many loved ones including family, friends and a nurturing church family, all which was such a blessing during his long and fruitful life.
Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C. Condolences may be made at www.montlawn.com
