Patsy Cole Bedsole, 88, of Raleigh passed away peacefully at her home June 11, 2018. She was born June 2, 1930 in Jacksonville to the late Cyrus Elwood Cole and Adrienne Cecil Cole.

Pat attended UNC Greensboro. She married Doyle V. Bedsole in 1952. After Doyle's military service the couple moved to Raleigh in 1957 where they raised two children, Scott and Sheri.

Pat found her greatest joy in serving her family. She served the Lord diligently for many years through Lydia intercessory prayer ministry and support of Christian missions.  Pat was a sweet and lovely lady who will be remembered by friends and family for her giving, caring, listening ways.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Cecil Cole of Carolina Beach, her sister, Harriet Cole Guyton of Southport, her daughter, Sheri Lynn Bedsole of Raleigh, her son, Doyle Scott Bedsole and wife, Valerie Morgan Bedsole of Raleigh, her granddaughter, Emily Neville Bedsole of Raleigh and beloved nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her sister Carolyn Cole Williams.

A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2911 S. Wilmington Street in Raleigh.
