Paul Andrew Carrington was born March 30, 1967 to the late Barbara Jean Carrington. Paul was called to eternal rest on May 29, 2023. Paul was educated in the Wake County School System. His chosen profession was the construction field mainly as a heavy equipment operator. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him especially his family. Paul was a sweet soul that was a jack of all trades and a master of them also. If you ever met him you never forgot him.
Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to talk to anyone and everyone. He never met a stranger. His heart was always opened and his spirit was giving. His nature was always willing to help and be there when needed. Paul enjoyed fishing, drag racing, karate movies and riding his motorcycle. Paul was definitely one of Dallas Cowboys biggest fans. He loved them "BOYS."
Paul loved to tell his testimony to those struggling and going down the road he once traveled to give them strength and hope. His motto was you don't know my story so let me tell you.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents Ezekiel and Mary B. Carrington, aunts Essie Gulley and Jeanette Short and one uncle Cleveland Carrington.
Paul leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 25 years Rhonda, his children Tilisa Jackson (Joel), Paul Carrington Jr, Jonathan Carrington and Arianna Carrington. Stepson Terrance Trice, bonus daughter Monay Agnew. Grandchildren Christian Amari, Kaiyenne, Kadence, Samar'e King, Kamdyn, Kyrie, and Maverick, sisters: Shannon Carrington, Stephanie Lyon and Candis Signal. Special Sister Annette Carrington (Wayne) brother Bruce Green (Juneakcia). Nieces, Channing "Big Dog " Carrington, Yasmine Lyon, Jordan Gary and Mackenzie Green. Aunts Mary Davis, Teresa Betts9Bishop James Phillip) Susan Robinson (Sergeant Josef) and Wendy Carrington. Uncles Eugene Spence (Mary) Deacon Rufus Short, Rex Carrington (Christina) and James Carrington. In-laws Alfonzo and Janie Gary, sister-in-laws Quiania Gary and Belinda Whitaker, brother-in-law Darrin Gary. Special cousin Steve "Steve-O" Smith. His "lil buddy" Chase Smith and his big fur babies Rocco and Nugget, along with a host of cousins relatives and friends.
