Obituary of Paul Pope
Paul R. Pope, Sr., 87, of 636 Price Street, departed this life Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Oak City Baptist Church, 608 Method Road, Raleigh, NC 27606. Interment will be in Montlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Pope is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois Morgan Pope, daughters; Paulette Pope Pulley, Lois Pope Hunter, Cynthia Pope Tabron; sons, Paul R. Pope, Jr., Cecil L. Pope and Bobby Nelson Bost; sisters, Mary Frances Pope Fearnot of Far Roackaway, NY, Amanda Pope Hooker and her husband, Robert Hooker, Sr. of Raleigh; sister in-law, Fannie Morgan Battle Costen of Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home, 636 Price Street, Raleigh, NC. (919) 832-2333
