Paula Kirby Champion, 46, of Clayton, earned her angel wings and went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Chris Champion; son, Jamie Champion; parents, Donnie & Donna Kirby; brother, "Buddy" Donnie Jr. (Rhonda) Kirby; sister, Amanda (Joseph) Miller; several nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles, cousins and 1 grand mother.

Paula was a very kind hearted and giving individual. She enjoyed creating and sending military donation boxes out to our troops. She was a great source of comfort and hope to many other women going through cancer treatments. She loved her cat and especially loved her time running many races with her best friend Kim.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday June 7 at Montlawn Funeral Home & Cremations, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh NC 27603. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Montlawn. Paula conveyed to her Mom her wish to beat this cancer and become an advocate for Ovarian Cancer to help others suffering.
