Obituary of Peggy Cannon
Peggy Ann Johnson Cannon, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm Friday, November 12, 2010 in Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC.
Peggy was a member of the PTA. She enjoyed cross stitch and needlepoint, but most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. Cannon; sons, Ronald Glenn Cannon, wife Suzy of Deltona, FL, Robert Gregory Cannon of N. Wilkesboro, NC; daughter, Mary Cathleen "Cathy" Thompson, husband Larry of Locust, NC; grandsons, Joseph Kalup and Kaison Ryan Cannon of Wilkesboro, NC, Robert Anthony and Tyler Dalton Cannon of Deltona, FL; granddaughter, Kirsten Leigh Thompson of Locust, NC; brother, David Johnson; sisters, Doris Schuck, Helen Todd, and Shirley Johnson. Peggy is predeceased by her sister, Lucille Morgan and her brother Douglas Johnson.
